Located 30 minutes from Grantley Adams Airport in 11 acres of tropical gardens on the famed Platinum Coast of Barbados. Accommodation
Uniquely, all guest rooms at Fairmont Royal Pavilion overlook the glittering Caribbean Sea. 48 Ocean front Deluxe rooms have unobstructed views of the sea from the glass fronted balcony. Guests staying in the 24 Junior Beach Front Suites receive fast track airport arrival through customs and immigration, butler service, complimentary canapés served in their room each evening and a private decked terrace just steps from the Oceans edge. We have three Villa rooms which can be sold individually or linked as a garden suite with a large lounge and patio area. Royal Pavilion is the only hotel on a beautiful half mile crescent bay of golden sand where the Turtles still come to nest.
Restaurants & Bars
Two restaurants and bars: casual open-air bistro Taboras provides great food, a relaxed atmosphere and breath taking views of the Caribbean Sea. Café Taboras serves an elaborate Buffet breakfast, sumptuous lunch, specialty Bajan nights and complimentary Full English Afternoon Tea. The exquisite open-air Palm Terrace is a more formal but intimate restaurant, with Moorish arches and swaying palms and is one of the most picturesque settings on the island.
Leisure & Activities
Families with children of all ages are welcome at Fairmont Royal Pavilion from 15 March to 31 October. Children over 10 years of age are permitted at all other times and interconnecting family rooms are guaranteed. A 50% Family Discount off the 2nd room is available 15 March- 31 Oct. Adjoining rooms are guaranteed. The Children’s Programme is available from the Water sports Centre, with activities for all ages, the majority of which are beach or water sports based. The older children can learn a water sport, such as sailing, surfing, snorkelling, paddle board or a kayak tour around the calm waters in the bay. Also popular are family movie nights, beach cricket and the little ones enjoy traditional Bajan games, crafts and treasure hunt. Don’t miss the complimentary swim with the Turtles daily at 3pm and take the opportunity to fish with the local fishermen.
