Day 2: Arrive in Beijing + Airport pick-up
Upon landing at Beijing Capital International Airport, our professional driver will be
waiting to welcome you. Sit back and relax as you are transferred to your hotel in
the heart of Beijing, ready to explore the city’s rich heritage.

Day 3: Beijing- Tiananmen Square + The Palace Museum + Shichahai Hutong Tour (by rickshaw + learn to make dumplings)
Tiananmen Square: The largest public square in the world, it serves as the
symbolic heart of modern China. Here, you can soak in its grandeur and visit
significant landmarks nearby.
The Palace Museum: Also known as the Forbidden City, it’s a vast imperial
complex with over 9,000 rooms. Explore the palaces, gardens, and rich
collection of imperial artifacts, offering a glimpse into China’s imperial past.
Shichahai Hutong Tour: Hop on a rickshaw to meander through the narrow
alleyways of Beijing’s ancient hutongs. Later, learn the art of making traditional
Chinese dumplings, an integral part of Chinese culinary culture.

Day 4: Beijing- Mutianyu Great Wall + Summer Palace (boat tour on the lake)
The Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best- preserved sections of the Great
Wall. With its steep slopes and magnificent scenery, it offers a breathtaking
view. You can either hike along the wall or take a cable car up for a more
relaxed experience. The wall winds through the mountains, presenting an
opportunity to appreciate the grandeur of this world- renowned wonder.
Summer Palace: A former imperial garden, it features beautiful pavilions,
temples, and a large lake. Take a boat tour on the lake, surrounded by the
serene beauty of the well- preserved imperial landscapes.

Day 5: Beijing- Temple of Heaven Park, Beijing-> Xi'an (by high- speed train)
Temple of Heaven Park: A masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture, it was
where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties conducted solemn ceremonies
to pray for good harvests. Participate in a Tai Chi session in the morning, a
traditional Chinese martial art known for its health- promoting benefits.
Boardahigh-speed train to Xi'an, an ancient capital of China. Upon arrival,
check in at your hotel. You can go to the Grand Tang Mall. The Grand Tang Mall
is a cultural and commercial area that recreates the grandeur of the Tang
Dynasty. With its traditional architecture, street performances, and various
shops, it offers a unique experience of ancient Chinese culture.

Day 6: Xi'an- Terracotta Army + City Wall + Muslim Quarter
Terracotta Army: Discovered in 1974, it’s a collection of life- sized clay
sculptures that guarded Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb. Explore the pits filled
with thousands of warriors, horses, and chariots, a testament to the remarkable
craftsmanship of ancient China.
Ancient City Wall: One of the oldest and largest city walls in China, it offers a
great view of Xi'an. Rent a bicycle and cycle around the wall, enjoying the
cityscape and the historical atmosphere.
Muslim Quarter: A vibrant area filled with traditional Islamic architecture,
delicious street food, and unique handicrafts. Sample local specialties like
roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and yangrou paomo (pita bread soaked in lamb
soup).

Day 7: Xi'an-> Shanghai (by flight)
Bid farewell to Xi'an and board a flight to Shanghai, one of China’s most modern
and vibrant cities.
Upon arrival in Shanghai, take the maglev train from the airport to reach downtown
and check in at your hotel.

Day 8: Shanghai- Yu Garden, Huangpu River Cruise
In the morning, explore Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden renowned for its
pavilions, rockeries, and serene ponds.
Cycle/Private car through the Former French Concession, then explore the narrow
alleys, known as longtang. Visit People's Park, a popular urban park where locals
gather for various activities.
Later, take a stroll along The Bund, a waterfront area adorned with magnificent
historical buildings.
As night descends, embark on a cruise along the Huangpu River. From the river,
admire the spectacular illuminated skyline, with both the old- world architecture and
the modern skyscrapers creating a breathtaking contrast.
Yu Garden: A traditional Chinese garden with pavilions, rockeries, and ponds.
It’s a prime example of classical Chinese garden design.
