Nestled between the mighty Himalayan ranges, Himachal Pradesh is adventures bliss with a plethora of spectacular landscapes. The valleys of Kangra & Dharamsala, are home to His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Then, Ladakh, a land which can be described only in speculative expanse. It is a land like no other, bounded by world's mightiest mountain ranges, the great Himalayas and the Karakoram ranges
Day 01 : Depart For Delhi
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive into Delhi. Welcome and transfer to the hotel.
Delhi, the capital of India is reminiscent of the colour and diversity of India whilst also being contemporary. It is the most historic capital in the world, having many UNESCO World Heritage sites. It provides a perfect introduction to the cultural wealth of India. The medieval atmosphere of the bazaars of Old Delhi contrasts sharply with the open, spacious streets of New Delhi, the imperial city created by the British. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi / Chandigarh / Nalagarh (Train)
Early next morning, board the Shatabdi Express for Chandigarh. Arrive in Chandigarh and enjoy a visit of this wonderfully designed city by the French architect Le Corbusier. Thereafter, proceed by road for Nalagarh via Pinjore, the Mughal Gardens. Arrive at Nalagarh, located on a hillock at the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. It provides panoramic views of the Shivalik Hills. Overnight in Nalagarh.
Day 03: Nalagarh / Kalka / Shimla
Next morning, depart for Shimla, the old summer capital of the British in India. Located at an altitude of 2200 meters, Shimla is magnificently robed in dense forests of oak and pine, fur and rhododendron. In the afternoon enjoy a short walk to the mall road, the Viceroy Lodge and other buildings of the colonial era. Overnight in Shimla.
Day 04: Shimla / Baijnath / Taragarh
In the morning, depart for Taragarh. Enroute visit the ancient temple of Baijnath dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue towards Taragarh, located in the picturesque valley of Kangra. At an altitude of 1000 meters, the Taragarh Palace surrounded by tea gardens is set at the foot of the Dauladhar ranges commanding magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks. Overnight in Taragarh.
Day 05: Taragarh / Palampur / Paragpur
Following morning, depart for Paragpur via Palampur - which is famous for its school of miniature. Arrive in Paragpur and enjoy an afternoon stroll in the orchards that are filled with the fruit trees. Then visit the beautiful National Heritage village of Paragpur-Garli to see the magnificent havelis of the 16th century. Overnight in Paragpur.
Day 06: Paragpur /Dharamsala
Today, depart for Dharamsala, often referred to as mini Lhasa. It lies on the Dhauladhar range & the Pir Panjal region of the outer Himalayas. Dharamsala, at present, is the seat of His Holiness The Dalai LAMA since his exile in 1959. Afternoon, visit Mc Leodganj and the Tibetian Museum. Overnight in Dharamsala.
Day 07: Dharamsala / Jammu
Next morning, stroll in colourful bazaars. Thereafter, depart for Jammu - the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir and often referred to as the city of Temples. Later visit the Bahu Fort & the Raghunath Temple. Overnight in Jammu.
Day 08: Jammu / Leh (Flight)
Following morning, board flight for Leh. Leh is "small Indian Tibet." Bordered by the Karakorm chain of mountains in the north and Himalayas in the South that gradually merge into an oasis of green fields, Leh is situated on the banks of the Indus, at a height of 11,000 feet. Later visit the Monastery. Overnight in Leh.
Day 09: Leh (Hemis - Thiksey)
Next morning, visit Shey, the old summer palace of the Kings of Ladakh. Then visit Thiksey monastery- an imposing monastery and one of the finest example of Ladakhi architecture. Afternoon visit Hemis - the richest, biggest and most famous gompa in Ladakh built in 1630. Belonging to the red sect, it is famed for its colourful annual Hemis Festival held in honour of Guru Padma Sambhava. The Lamas perform sacred masked dances and every 12 years his thanka is displayed. Overnight in Leh.
Day 10: Leh / Ule Tokpo (Lamayuru)
Today, visit the Shankar monastery. It serves as the residence of the head priest - Kushak Bakula. A number of gold icons can be discovered here. If time permits, visit Tak-Thog Gompa. Overnight in Leh.
Day 11: Leh

Day 12: Leh /Delhi (Flight)
Next morning, transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, proceed for the city tour of Old Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Mughals between the 16th and the 19th centuries. Here there are many mosques, monuments and forts, the most notable being the famous Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. The medieval atmosphere of the bazaars of Old Delhi contrasts sharply with the open, spacious streets of New Delhi, the imperial city created by the British. Overnight
Day 13: Delhi / Next Destination
Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
