Best time to visit Morocco:
The best time to visit Morocco is during spring (March to May) and fall (September to November). During these months, temperatures are comfortably warm, ranging from 68-77°F (20-25°C), making it ideal for exploring the country's diverse landscapes.

Located at an altitude of 1,612 metres, the town of Boumalne Dades is in the heart of the Valley of the Birds. These rugged, monumental and wild mountains are set in a unique environment, surrounded by small Berber villages.
It is the ideal place for an infinite number of trips that will take us to places as spectacular as the Dades Gorges. This ravine, located in the valley of the Dades River, seems to cut the mountain in two. It is a film-like landscape.
Ifrane charms never ceases to amaze its visitors with its calm waves of its lakes, and the waterfalls pouring cold waters .
Magical and fascinating, the one-time capital of Morocco and the oldest of its imperial cities, Fez is one of the best-preserved medieval Islamic cities.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Marrakech Airport and transfer you to your accommodation
- On the first day, we will meet you at the airport and transfer to your accommodation.
- The night will be spent at your accommodation.
Day 2: Explore Marrakech
- Explore Marrakech:
- We will start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest. This includes the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace.
- After lunch at a local restaurant near the famous square, you will walk through the souks and you can also buy souvenirs or enjoy the art of handicrafts.
Day 3: Marrakesh- Ait benhaddou- Ouarzazate- roses valley- Boumaln dades ( 325 km )
- We’ll start our tour from Marrakech to Boumaln Dades where we’ll spend a night. After breakfast, we will leave Marrakesh at 8:00 am through Atlas mountains with their landscape and a panoramic view - arrive at Ait ben Haddou Kasbah and visit this amazing kasbah with its structure and cultures.
- We will have lunch at the restaurant and relax for a little time then we’ll leave for Ouarzazate city which is famous for its studios, and a big history about these studios with its movies who were filmed by famous actors; after visiting we’ll continue our way to Boumaln Dades via roses valley with its landscape and its roses. Arrive at the hotel/riad where we’ll spend a night.
Day 4: Dades Gorges- Draa Valley- Rissani- Erg Chebbi Dunes (Merzouga) [269 km]
- Visit Todra Gorge, a colorful tight canyon popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Then we’ll drive through The Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud via Tinjdad, an oasis town famous as the gate to the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes and recognized for its unique fossils and their manufacturers.
- While there, we can visit a local fossil factory that produces artisans and home furniture fabricated from fossils.
- Then drive to the Sahara desert to reach Merzouga.
Arriving at the edge of the golden dunes you change the vehicle for the wavy desert dunes, guided by experienced guides, & a stop to admire one of the best sunset sceneries, as daylight decreases the sand changes color, while you enjoy sandboarding. - Arriving at the desert camp where we’ll stay overnight in Berber-style tents.
- This spectacular night will be rendered memorable with a unique and traditional starlit Berbere dinner topped off by tribal music (Drums) around a desert campfire.
Day 5: Merzouga 4x4 desert excursion
- MERZOUGA 4X4 DESERT EXCURSION
- First, we will take you to visit Khamlia, the small town of Gnaoua, and enjoy our music. Then we will take you to discover Mefis “salt and mascara mine. Later we will visit an amazing family in the tents, and see how they live their lives in a local tent made from the hair of camels. After that, we will visit Srij Lake and the small oasis of Merzouga. We will have lunch in a Berber house. Finally, we will take you to the riad/hotel where you can relax and admire the sunset from there.
Day 6: Merzouga desert- Midelt- Azrou ( Monkies wild ) Ifran- Fes ( 467 km )
- After breakfast we will continue via the Ziz Valley to Errachidia and Fes, with an enroute stop at the panoramic Ziz Valley.
- From there we’ll continue our way via Atlas mountains then Zaabel tunnel, between Errachidia and Midelt. Stop for lunch.
- We will continue our way to Azrou forest. Azrou Forest, nestled in the heart of the Middle Atlas. The Forest is a magical place, with towering cedar trees, playful monkeys, and passionate artisans, offering an unforgettable adventure.
- We continue our way to Ifrane - Ifrane is a town in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. It’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. A stone statue of a lion near leafy Parc la Prairie is a well-known landmark. Just outside town, Ain Vittel is a spring with several waterfalls. To the west, Ifrane National Park, with its Atlas cedar forests, is home to rare Barbary macaques
- After 40 min we’ll leave Ifrane to Fes, we’ll arrive at noon at the hotel/riad, and you’ll have an overnight.
Day 7: Visit Fes with our local guide
- After breakfast, you will be accompanied by a local guide to explore Fes.
- Exploring Fes’s oldest amazing structures is a must and a thrilling chance not to be missed while in Morocco.
- Enjoy a half-day walking guided tour of the Medina with a local guide, The Fes Medina is the World’s biggest living historic Medina and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. The Medina of Fez is considered as one of the most extensive and best conserved historic towns of the Arab-Muslim world.
- You will also see the ancient historical landmarks in the Old Medina (Fes-el-Bali), such as the Nejjarin Museum, Al Quaraouin, Morocco’s oldest university, the Jewish Quarter, and observe Fes’ famed leather tannery from above, among other things.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca Airport.
- After breakfast you will be transferred to the Airport for your departure flight home.
