Itinerary
Day 01: Bangkok
Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, our guide greets you and transports you to your hotel in town.
After checking in, there’s time to relax or enjoy leisure activities in the hotel.

Day 02: Bangkok
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have a full day at leisure to discover Bangkok on your own or to take one of the many optional excursions available on the spot: speak to your travel agent or your local rep for suggestions. Bangkok, one of the world’s most fascinating cities, where you could spend a lifetime exploring every
street and alleyway of its bustling, vibrant neighborhoods. You could start the day around the Bangkok Old Town on a walking tour with your personal local tour guide. Explore some of the city's most incredible attractions, sample local cuisine, and wander the shops and sites with a local who offers insight and information along the way.

Day 03: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi
Early morning pick up from your accommodation in the center of Bangkok. Depart to Kanchanaburi, our first visit of the day is the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre an interactive museum and research centre, there you will find information dedicated to preserving the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. Then on to visit Allied War Cemetery and pay respect to the memorial to some 6,000 allied prisoner of war who perished during the construction of the Death Railway and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs in World War II and had seen its share of conflict and bloodshed.
Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue to the Hellfire Pass Memorial, , a part of the Death Railway, was built cruelly by prisoners of war during the
World War II. The pass is no longer in use and it becomes the museum to exhibit related tools and photographs about the historical event to remind people the importance of world peace. Then take a long-tailed boat to River Kwai Jungle Rafts, check-in and take a moment for yourself so you will find every conceivable hotel’s amenity to aid your relaxation.
Dinner followed by a 45–minute presentation of traditional Mon Dance and overnight at River Kwai Jungle Rafts

Day 04: Kanchanaburi – Bangkok
Breakfast at hotel, and followed by visiting Mon Tribal Village and easy jungle walk. Check out and have lunch at local restaurant. Enjoy an experiential train ride along the famous Death Railway that excitedly runs through the rock-cutting passage over the wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. Then journey back to Bangkok and transfer to your accommodation in center of Bangkok.

Day 05: Bangkok – Chiang Mai
Breakfast at the hotel. In the late afternoon, you’re picked up from your hotel to Krung Thep Apiwat Central Terminal Station for your night train to Chiang Mai.
Overnight on the train (2 nd class air-conditioned sleeper train)

Day 06: Chiang Mai
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai train station, our local guide greets you and transports you to your selected hotel in town. The day is yours to explore Chiang Mai on your own or to take one of the many optional excursions available for the afternoon and the evening. Your local guide will be happy to make recommendations.

Day 07: Chiang Mai – Karen Hilltribe Village
Depart by truck at approx. 9:00 to the North of Chiang Mai. A short stop will be made at Mae Malai local market to buy some foods and vegetables needed during the trek. Stop at Mok Fah Waterfall for swimming and relaxation. Transfer by truck to Karen Village for a local lunch. Continue the trip trek about 3 ½ hour to another Karen Hilltribe village at Bann Pa Kao Lam walk around the village to see their local lifestyle. Dinner and overnight at the Karen Village. There’s usually a campfire with some local entertainment - such as jokes, games and funny stories - lead by the guide after dinner.

Accommodation: Simple Bamboo/Wooden Huts with simple mattresses and mosquito nets in dormitory style rooms with shared bathroom facilities, no heating, no electricity and no running water
Day 08: Karen Hilltribe Village - Chiang Mai
Breakfast at the village. Trek about 1 hour to the Rafting point. Take a Bamboo Raft along the Tang River through many rapids for 2 ½ hours to the Shan Village of Bann Sob Kai. On the way stop at a Lahu Hilltribe village at Bann Pong Ngan. Late lunch at the Shan Village. Transfer by a pickup truck back to Chiang Mai. Arrive at Chiang Mai city hotel at approx. 18:00.

Day 09: Chiang Mai
The first eight days of this tour are eventful, to say the least. So, after breakfast at your hotel, you have a full day of leisure to discover the downtown of Chiang Mai on your own, or take one of the many optional excursions available. We suggest learning about the Asian elephants at one of the elephant sanctuaries or enjoying the tranquil beauty and glorious flora of the Chiang Mai Botanical Garden. A half day cooking class or the hilltop Doi Suthep Temple, which is famed for its breathtaking views over the city are also popular choices!

Day 10: Chiang Mai Departure
Your last day starts with breakfast at the hotel. At the arranged time, your private driver will transfer you to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to your next destination.

Hellfire Pass Memorial
Blackout for annual public holidays on 13-15 April, 28 July, 13 October, 5 December, 24-27 December, 31 December & 1 January. During which we will instead visit Home Phutoey Museum Park, explore the whole collection of images of prisoner of war drew and painted by Jack Chalker, a British artist who record the hardship in the prison camp over 3-year period, and the Weary Dunlop Museum and replicas of hospital hut.
River Kwai Jungle Raft
Due to ecology conservation concept, the entire floatel at River Kwai Jungle Rafts does NOT use electricity but rather utilizes traditional kerosene lamps at night maintaining a true eco hideaway in nature.
Karen Hilltribe Village
The accommodation at hilltribe village is a basic dormitory room in the cottage equipped with basic mattress, pillow and blankets and have no electricity.
Children under 4 years of age are not recommended. Those aged 6-11 years always need adults / parents to supervise.
